Ramban, Feb 24: Ramban police arrested a person after they recovered 7.8 kg poppy straw from his car at Ramsu on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway on Saturday.
Police sources said on the directions of SSP Ramban, Anuj Kumar a police team of Police Station Ramsu established a special naka on the National Highway in the Ramsu area.
They said a Jammu-bound car bearing registration JK03N -2618 was stopped. During checking of the vehicle 7.8 kg poppy straw was recovered from the vehicle.
