Sopore, Feb 25: In a significant crackdown on illegal activities, police in Sopore recovered illicit diesel from village Chatoosa in the jurisdiction of police station Dangiwacha and arrested an accused person involved in the commission of crime.
Police Station Dangiwacha received specific information regarding the transportation of an illicit diesel. Accordingly, a police party f headed by SHO Dangiwacha conducted a raid at a specific location in village Chatoosa. During the raid, a police party recovered six barrels of illicit diesel approximately 750 litres from the spot. The accused person involved in the commission of crime has been identified as Babar Shams Baba resident of Jalal Abad Sopore. He has been arrested and shifted to PS where he remains in custody.
