Srinagar, Aug 1: Body of an elderly man was fished out from Nigeen Lake near Pokhribal area on Tuesday afternoon.
Officials said that the body was spotted by some locals, who later informed the police. They said a rescue team, along with police, reached the spot to fish out the body.
“The deceased was identified as Nisar Ahmad Qureshi son of Mohamad Yousf Qureshi of Batamaloo,” a police official said.
