Srinagar, Oct 22: Senior CPI(M) leader Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami on Sunday sought intervention of the Government of India in ceasefire in Palestine.

In a press conference, Tarigami expressed deep concern about the “genocide being carried out brazenly by Israel supported by United States of America.”

He appealed to the United Nations for effective intervention to stop the ongoing war crimes committed by the Israeli Army in Gaza and West Bank.
