SSM organises seminar on Artificial Intellligence

Srinagar, June 8: SSM College of Engineering hosted an insightful seminar titled “Artificial Intelligence and Evolving Global Economic Order & Role of New Technologies” on June 8, featuring esteemed guest speakers, Parvez Bashir, AI expert from the World Bank, United States, and Khurshid Ahmad Ganai, Former IAS Officer.

The seminar drew a large gathering, including students, faculty members, and senior college administrators, eager to gain insights into the profound impact of emerging technologies on the global economic landscape.

   

Parvez Bashir delivered a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation, shedding light on the pivotal role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in driving global technological advancements. He delved into the multifaceted aspects of AI and the challenges that lie ahead, fostering an engaging dialogue by addressing students’ queries on the subject.

Complementing Bashir’s expertise, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai provided valuable perspectives on the impact of emerging technologies on the evolving global economic order. He explored the far-reaching implications of this transformative shift, analyzing its potential effects on the overall global economy and the Indian economy in particular.
