Bandipora: A 30-year-old casual labourer of the PDD department died after slipping from an electric pole at Ajas area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, officials said on Saturday.
The officials identified him as Mansoor Ahmad. The officials said Ahmad was repairing a fault in electric wire when he slipped from the pole.
Mansoor was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival, officials informed.
