New Delhi, May 13: The Union government has sent another show cause to Khajan Singh, initiating the process to dismiss him on sexual harassment charges, sources said today.

This is to initiate a process to dismiss Khajan Singh, a DIG-ranked former chief sports officer of CRPF, on charges of sexual harassment levelled against him.

   

This second dismissal is sent on the recommendation of UPSC and duly approved by Union Home Minister, said a source.

Khajan Singh is an Arjuna Awardee in swimming and a celebrated CRPF Officer.

Earlier in April one show cause in another case was also sent to him and he had been asked to reply in 15 days.

According to CRPF officials, this second show cause is also to be replied in next 15 days.

Khajan Singh is due to retire on May 31.

Quoting officials, top MHA sources said that they have a zero tolerance towards such conduct which makes women weak in workplaces. They said Singh’s case is very serious and that they won’t tolerate such behavior.
