Kashmir passengers who have cancelled their travel plans on Saturday urged the government to direct the airliners to refund them in full.
A delegation of passengers said airlines were refusing towaive off refund charges on ticket cancellations despite unprecedentedsituation which has forced lockdown across the globe.
“I had booked air tickets for three of my family members,but due to Coronavirus scare cancelled the trip and subsequently cancelled ourtickets. But airlines charged Rs 9,000 as cancellation charges,” said oneperson.
The delegation appealed Divisional Commissioner, PandurangPole and Deputy Commissioner to take up the issue with airlines operating inKashmir.
