Electricity crisis dampens Ramadhan festivities: NC

Srinagar, Mar 16: National Conference on Saturday said that the incumbent LG administration has abjectly failed to deliver on the daunting issues particularly of providing electricity during iftar and sehri times faced to people in Kashmir.

This was said by the party’s state Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar after reports of massive power outages across the Kashmir province during iftar and sehri times, a press release said.

The people who had called upon the State spokesperson alaso apprised him how the skyrocketing prices and inadequate supply of electricity have dampened their Ramzan festivities.

“Unfortunately, the administration has left the people to fend for themselves. It was expected of the administration to rise up to the demands of the people by ensuring them all basic and effective amenities. But the administration seems to have no compassion for the people ,” he said.
