Rajouri, Aug 26: The Krishan Janmasthmi was on Monday celebrated with religious fervour in Rajouri.
Thousands of people took part in religious procession organised under the banner of Sanatan Dharam Sabha Rajouri.
The procession started from Sanatan Dharam Sabha and passed through main town and again included in Sanatan Dharam Sabha.
Tight security arrangements were also put in place for this procession.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma while extending his greetings to the people said that Krishan Janamasthmi has immense values among people and a procession has been organised in Rajouri town in which officers of civil administration and police accompanied.
Similarly, processions of Krishan Janamasthmi were also organised in other parts of Rajouri and Poonch districts.
Tight security arrangements were also enforced during these procession.
