Medical camp at SK Village for LoC residents

Srinagar: As part of the outreach programme and to mitigate the hardships faced by the residents of remote villages near the Line of Control a joint medical camp was conducted in Sudhi Kilshai village of Gulab Bowl in Gurez by the n Army and Sub District Hospital Dawar.

According to a press note, 134 individuals hailing from all nine nearby villages were benefitted in this noble drive conducted by the joint team under the medical officer of the Indian Army and BMO Gurez s Tahira Begum.

   

The major ailments observed were of high BP and Back aches due to carriage of heavy loads for their sustenance.

The villagers were given treatment and free medicines were distributed apart from medical advice by the team of doctors.

The BMO also reviewed the PHC’s of the villages and promised to fulfil their requirements on urgent basis before the onset of winters.
