Police officers call on DGP; expressed gratitude to UT Administration

Srinagar, June 15: Officers of different batches of Jammu and Kashmir Police Services (JKPS) today called on Director General of Police J&K Dilbag Singh at Police Headquarters, Srinagar.

In a statement the police said that the officers expressed their gratitude to the Lt. Governor J&K Manoj Sinha, Advisor (B) R. R. Bhatnagar, Chief Secretary J&K Dr A. K. Mehta, Home Secretary Shaleen Kabra and other officers of the UT Government for amendment in the Non-Functional (Monetary) Scheme, through DGP, J&K.

   

They thanked the DGP J&K for presenting the issues of the J&K Police Services officers in front of the administration, which has been kind enough in extending the Non-Functional (Monetary) Scheme, and also redressing other issues.

During his interaction with the officers the DGP J&K said that the Departmental Promotion Committees have been holding their meetings regularly and during the current year 3758 personnel in different ranks have been promoted.

The DGP said that recently 389 personnel of different ranks were converted into Ministerial/Steno Cadre after they qualified departmental written examination and skill tests. He assured the officers that other issues will also be resolved as soon as possible.
