Ramban, Apr 2: Ramban Police arrested two absconders involved in two separate cases registered at Police Station Batote one and half years ago.
Police sources said SSP Ramban Anuj Kumar constituted special police teams to arrest the absconders wanted in various cases.
In this connection a dedicated police team of Police Station Batote arrested two absconders wanted in two different cases registered at Police Station Batote.
Police said Amjad Ahmed resident of Kachwan Kokernag District Anantnag was wanted in case FIR No. 62 of 2022 under sections 188/109/IPC and section 11, PC, Act. and Afzal Ahmed resident of Jasrota Kathua was wanted in case FIR No. 71 of 2022 under sections 188/109 IPC and 11PC Act.
They said both the accused persons were absconding and evading their arrest after the commission of offence with a motive to avoid the legal proceedings
Both were produced before the court of Sub Judge Batote today.
