Unacademy holds orientation, career counselling sessions in Srinagar

Srinagar, Apr 21:   Scores of students joined the Unacademy’s major orientation and career counselling session in Srinagar. The event was held on Sunday at the Convocation Centre at Kashmir University.

During the event, top academicians from Kashmir and across India delivered orientation and career counselling sessions. The organisers of the event said that their aim is to provide the best career-building platform for students across Kashmir.

   

Speaking to Greater Kashmir on the sidelines of the event, Sumit Mahajan, head of offline centres across India said that the event marks the entry of Unacademy into Srinagar. He said on the day, they will introduce their top academicians from Kashmir and India who will teach students in Kashmir.

“This is an important event as we are opening two offline centres in Srinagar. We have roped in top teachers from the valley and today we will introduce them. We want Kashmiri students should be on the top of competitive exams and make their way into AIIMS, GMC, NIT and IITs. We are here to make their dreams come true and facilitate in every way possible. Today we will let students know our vision and what kind of facilities we will provide,” Mahajan said.

Naseer Bhat, Unacademy’s Pune Head dwelled upon the process of providing teaching and other facilities through their academy. He said they will provide the best platform for the students.

“We will be the major power behind you and will help you achieve your goals. We will provide offline classes with all digital facilities. There will be periodic tests, recorded lectures, parent-teacher meetings and much more. These things will help equip you to crack any exam at ease,” Bhat said.

At the end of the event, there was a special performance by Mohammad Muneem, a well-known singer from Kashmir. The event witnessed the presence of scores of students, parents and other academicians. In addition to that many achievers shared their experience of their career graph and motivated students present there.
