SSP Samba disengages 3 SPOs from services

Samba, May 7: SSP Samba Vinay Kumar Sharma Tuesday disengaged three Special Police Officers (SPOs) from services for dereliction of duties and involvement in NDPS case, while disposing of two separate departmental enquiries initiated against them.

Two SPOs namely Daljeet Singh (No 633/DS) and SPO Bali Ram (No 494/DS) have been disengaged in case FIR No. 93/2023 registered at Police Station Ramgarh in which an accused arrested in a gruesome murder case had escaped from the police custody.

   

SSP Samba disengaged these SPOs from services for dereliction of duties, on the recommendation of the Enquiry Officer, a police spokesperson said.

In another case, SPO Deepak Singh (No 33/DS) has been disengaged for his involvement in case FIR No 172/2023 registered under relevant sections of the NDPS Act at Police Station Samba. “SPO has been disengaged from service by SSP Samba based on the recommendation of the Enquiry Officer in this case,” the spokesperson said.
