Anantnag, Apr 19: A middle-aged woman died after her house collapsed in Takiya Magam village of Kokernag’s Anantnag district on Friday.
The dead woman has been identified as Saleema Begum. According to an official, Begum was inside her mud-house when it collapsed due to the torrential rains. She was immediately pulled out of debris and rushed to Government Medical College (GMC), Anantnag where she succumbed to her injuries, said the official.
