Peoples Conference is Kashmir team; dedicated to serve people: Sajad Lone

Srinagar, Apr 28: People’s Conference (PC) President Sajad Gani Lone today said that his party is the Kashmir team, dedicated to serving the people.

According to a press note, he was addressing two party function. Scores of prominent socio-political activists from Machil and Maidanpora, representing diverse ideological backgrounds, joined the party.

   

Extending a warm welcome to the new entrants, PC President expressed contentment for the widespread acceptance, support and affection shown by the people towards his party. He emphasised that this overwhelming response serves as an inspirational driving force for the party’s leadership to redouble their dedication to public welfare.

Lone stated that Peoples Conference has today shown with utmost clarity that it is a party of the people, where everyone who desires to positively contribute to the well-being and betterment of the local populace is welcome. “We are the Kashmir Team, dedicated to serving the people and with this motto, we shall raise the voice of the common people in the Parliament and seek their rights and dignity,” he said.

Lone urged the new members to redouble their efforts in public outreach, ensuring that the people are apprised of the party’s ideals, paving the way for the envisaged positive change in the Parliamentary elections.

“The success of our party has remained enshrined in keeping our roots intact and delivering respect to our people who have suffered relentlessly. We should hear them out, help them out and ensure their grievances are resolved,” he said.

Later, PC President also convened a meeting, engaging with party members representing Block Committees from Krusan, Lalpora and Diver in Lolab constituency.

Emphasizing the paramount importance of amplifying public voices across various platforms, PC President reiterated the party’s commitment to represent the concerns and aspirations of the populace.

“We are dedicated to championing their rights and aspirations, carrying their voices to the highest echelons of governance-the Parliament,” he said.
