Srinagar, Apr 15: National Conference Party President Dr Farooq Abdullah today urged his party functionaries to prepare diligently for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
According to a press release, he was addressing a meeting of central Parliamentary constituency functionaries here.
Discussions encompassed crucial matters concerning the region’s populace and organisational affairs with key emphasis on strengthening the party for the upcoming Parliamentary elections.
Among others Ali Muhammad Sagar, Mubarak Gul, Irfan Shah, Agha Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, Tanvir Sadiq, Peer Afaq, Er Sabiya Qadri, Ahsan Pardesi, Shameema Firdous, Ali Muhammad Dar, Saifudin Bhat, Ahsan Pardesi, Qaisar Jalali, Muhammad Khalil Bandh, Dr Ghulam Nabi Bhat, Sheikh Gayas ud Din, Ghulam Nabi Rather were present on the occasion.
Earlier party’s Lok Sabha candidate for Anantnag- Rajouri PC presided over a meeting of constituency incharges of district Anantnag and Kulgam at Anantnag. Party’s senior leader and district Secretary Sakina Itoo, party leaders Dr Bashir Veeri, Altaf Ahmad Wani, Ab Majeed Larmi, Imran Nabi Dar, Riyaz Khan, Peerzada Faroz, Peer Mohammad Hussain, Choudhary Zaffar attended the meeting. Among other issues, the party’s upcoming programmes and election preparedness were discussed in detail.
