DG BSF reviews operational preparedness along LoC

Srinagar, Apr 12: Director General of Border Security Force (BSF), Nitin Agrawal, visited the forward area of Srinagar sector along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir on Friday to review the operational preparedness of the unit deployed there.

The visit comes in the backdrop of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and the melting of snow at mountain passes along the LoC, which could potentially lead to increased infiltration attempts by terrorists.

   

Despite the extreme weather conditions and challenging terrain, the DG BSF applauded the troops for their commitment and dedication to duty. He motivated the troops and appreciated their efforts in ensuring the security of the borders.
